A Glue that Binds African Traditions
When it comes to the rich culture and traditions, Africa would certainly be a part of this discussion. And the journey of Africans to the Grand America, these people have endured so much poverty, discrimination, racism and many other attacks. The company, as it seemed, had the war against this race, but they were resilient. And now that they belong to another nation, it is essential that African-Americans to maintain their traditions.
Just look at how African-Americans survived slavery and intolerance against them, you grow to respect these people. But what made them docile all these tests? Kept their traditions? If so, how did these traditions, the contemporary African-American children? Transfer of these traditions to the younger generation thought that you learn the ways of old. This is where mentoring comes in.
Mentoring is simply a process whereby an experienced person provides support and encouragement for a person who has less experience, is defined. The mentor will act as a consultant, but his example and guidance. Mentoring can be formal or informal.

Because of the need for guidance for the black race, 100 Black Men, Inc. was born in 1963. The aim of the African-American community is living in a totally improve by whites. Currently there are famous members such as Denzel Washington, Bill Cosby, Michael Jordan, just to name a few.
Mentoring is and remains an essential task of this organization. One of their programs intended that children under nine years of post-secondary learning would get holistic knowledge through some rites of passage, covering the preparation of the men their masculinity. The questions related to aspects of cultural heritage, family, etiquette and other survival skills, and even faith. Resource management, athletics and mentoring are essential elements of learning.
By participating in this mentoring to the young African-American to develop a better understanding of its culture. Pride and self-esteem would also be established without disrespecting other colors or race.
The mentoring process in general, teaches respect and appreciation for African culture. By protecting the knowledge of the rich history and contemporary assets of these people to keep them in a better position and what belongs to them, rightly, that no amount of slavery would be able to corrupt.
